Life happens…all the time. When we are faced with challenges, we have choices. We always have choices. The good news is this: when faced with a tough decision, there are ALWAYS new opportunities to go after.
Recently I was faced with a challenging situation and I needed to make a decision about my future. Should I stay in Florida or should I re-locate to the New England area to be closer to my family? This was a tough one for me. I have lived in Florida for 28 years AND it’s much colder in New England during the winter than it is in summer! Hehe!
Nowadays, I do not jump into making decisions lightly. I have a process that works well for me and I used it again to make this next choice for my life. I waited. I used prayer and meditation to see what fears and what excitement would come up for me as I pondered my next move. I took my time because I deserve to make the best possible decision for me and other people in my life. This is true for everyone. We all deserve to take the necessary time to make the choice that is best for us in the present moment.
I also no longer feel like I have to worry about making the “wrong” decision. I know that my choice to move to New England is best for me. I don’t need to stay there forever. But it is the right location for me going forward . And, this brings a level of excitement and positive anticipation to me. I don’t know where I will end up living or working yet, but I trust Divine Spirit to guide me EVERY STEP OF THE WAY!
So, the next time you are faced with a big decision, take time to consider all of the angles. Take time to sit in the silence, pay attention to the thoughts that come up for you, and keep an open heart. I remained open to all possibilities. I did not rule out anything during my time of considering the options and this is my recommendation to all of you reading this today. Stay open, trust the process, and know that all is unfolding in Divine Order, regardless of appearances. I’m moving to New England at the beginning of March 2018. Here’s to experiencing the four seasons once again!
