The Countdown Begins ~ 40 days to go!
Here we go, friends! I had an idea last week that seemed a bit daunting but I decided Divine Spirit was nudging me to move forward with it. So I am going to follow through on it anyway and we’ll see how it all unfolds.
I’m moving to New England in 40 days! 40 DAYS!!! I can’t believe how quickly time has gone by. I have lived in Florida for over 28 years and the excitement is building as I prepare for this huge change in my life. The idea I referenced above was to share an entry a day here on my blog to allow my friends to see what it going on and how I am doing as I process all of the emotions that go along with this type of move.
For the next 40 days, I’m going to share a short blog with you on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and LinkedIn. I intend to be as honest as I can without boring you with unnecessary details. And, we’ll see how it all turns out.
Today I will openly share with you that I’m thrilled to be looking at new opportunities for employment and living arrangements. Yet, I’m overcome at times with emotions about leaving so many wonderful friends. It’s an emotional roller-coaster ride these days.
I’m preparing to turn over my tasks to other people at my current job. I’m taking two classes in ministerial school and keeping up with assignments each week. I’m packing up a few belongings and releasing much of what I own in donations because there is only so much room in my car. This can be a lot to process at times, but I’m moving forward, taking one step at a time, knowing this is the decision that works best for me and my family in these moments.
Knowing this helps me continue to do the work that is mine to do. I’m grateful, actually beyond grateful, that I’m having this experience right now. You, the readers, get to go along for the ride with me for the next 40 days. Thank you for your encouragement, your prayers, and your loving support. We are forever connected. I could not do this without you. Stay tuned for my next entry tomorrow friends. Namaste!
