KK Countdown: 4 Weeks To Go
Four weeks from today I will load up my car, turn in my modem, donate any leftover items that don’t fit in my car, and begin the 1600 mile drive to Connecticut. I made this decision in October of last year and it seemed so far away. Now, here I am, 28 short days away from the beginning of yet one more exciting adventure. All I can say about this is: WOW!
Appearances (physical appearances) are beginning to change drastically. Most of my kitchen and several closets are basically empty. I have one huge storage closet that I haven’t looked at yet, but I’ll be able to get to it soon. My focus right now is to empty all of my furniture so it will all be ready for pickup in 18 days.
Balancing work, school, and packing up my possessions has been challenging. But it’s shown me just how much I’m capable of as well. I use affirmations to remind myself that all is in Divine Order. I share what I’m feeling with close friends so I don’t bottle up my emotions. And, I express my gratitude through my actions, knowing that I am willingly open to receive every blessing that comes with this move.
I’m grateful, most of all, that I decided to record this process through 40 days of blogging. I’m getting to know me, even more so now than ever before. I just want to say thank you to everyone who has been taking the time to read these entries and lovingly support me in so many other ways as well. You rock!
