To Be of Service
As I settle in and become accustomed to my new surroundings, my mind is beginning to look at what I should be focusing on next. I know what I want to do…and I know I will find a way to do it. The only question is how it will unfold.
It feels great to have a goal, to have a direction, to have a dream. I’m in a place now where I know I have skills to lead a spiritual community. I’m in a place now where I know I can help others realize their magnificent potential…because I’ve had people help me step outside my comfort zone so I could reach for the stars.
How can this happen? It will take hard work. It will take determination. It will take dedication to maintaining a spiritual practice. I can check all of these off…I’m a hard worker, I’m determined, and I have incorporated a spiritual practice into my daily life. The only thing left now is to be of service to others, whether as a class facilitator, or a speaker, or as a prayer partner. Being of service to others allows me to become less self-centered and more compassionate. Being of service to others is my solution to every life challenge I face.
As I continue to create a new direction for my life, I will remain focused on helping others. I am Love; I am Peace; I am Joy…and I radiate this Love, Peace, and Joy out to all the world. To be of service…that is my purpose, every day. Namaste.
