How do you start your day? I’ve created a routine that works well for me and I often hit the ground running when I follow it. Let me share an excerpt from a reading I saw during this morning’s routine:
“A caterpillar transforming into a butterfly is an excellent analogy of a divine blueprint. I, too, have within me a pattern of wholeness that supports me in becoming all that I have been created to be.” ~ Daily Word, March 23, 2018
I read the Daily Word every day as part of my morning routine. The publication is sent out through Silent Unity, one of the largest prayer ministries in the world. This particular passage reminds me, immediately, of my divinity. It reminds me that I already have the resources I need to accomplish everything I want to accomplish and more.
I don’t know about you, but getting these reminders in the morning, BEFORE I start my day, point me in a positive and productive direction. When I am running late and don’t follow this routine, I can feel the difference. I read a couple of other daily affirmation books as well and they all seem to say the same things with different words. I often have a smile on my face as I read the passages and note all of the similar themes. It’s working for me and so I thought I would share this with you.
Unity World Headquarters is located near Lee’s Summit, MO and it is an amazing place to visit. Some of you know I’m in ministerial school…I’m studying to become a Unity minister. Much of what I know so far has come from Unity classes as well as publications like the Daily Word.
If you have a daily morning routine to get you started each day, share it in the comments below. Let’s share with each other what works for us, shall we? 😉
