My To-Do List

Do you have a daily to-do list? I have one and I’ve noticed that I fluctuate between ignoring it completely and checking it 25 times in one day. What’s up with that? Haha! I crack myself up sometimes.

Seriously though, I like the idea of jotting things down (I usually create the list on my phone) and then going back to check them off once a task has been completed. It gives me a sense of accomplishment, no matter how big or small the task is.

Of course, the challenge for me centers around becoming too overwhelmed when there is so much to do. I sometimes feel like I’m adding more and more…and more, to the list. Then the doubt begins to surface and I wonder how I can possibly complete everything in a timely manner.

This is when I need to pause, breathe, and relax into the moment. This is when I choose to remember that I’m organized and capable. This is when I move forward with faith and self-confidence, knowing I am ready to do all that is mine to do. I must pause first…or nothing will get done.

So, to all of you out there who are list-makers, I say good for you! Let’s remember we can complete our tasks and we can do it with a sense of joy and satisfaction. We’re not alone. We support each other throughout the days and weeks ahead. For this, we are grateful! Have wonderful day!
