Gratitude Overflowing

I’m so glad I made this move from FL to New England. I’m filled with excitement for a ton of reasons. Yesterday and today helped put it all in perspective. Life is good!

Yesterday I had the opportunity to visit with some family members for the first time in several years. My father and brother came with me and we had a blast! I never knew how much fun it would be to just sit and visit with my aunt and cousins, talking about the past and the present, catching up on everyone’s news.

It looked like my father and his sister enjoyed listening to the stories. We giggled like little kids remembering some of the antics we used to pull way back when. This is the stuff I missed out on for so many years. I’m happy to be here now.

As for today, I went on a job interview and it went really well. I hope to return for a second interview next week. It will provide one more piece to the puzzle of my life right now. Once I commit to a part-time job near Worcester, MA, I’ll be able to start looking for a place to live! Woo hoo!

Today’s post is all about gratitude…I’m filled with gratitude for family time, for job opportunities, and for new beginnings. I’m so glad I get to spend time with my immediate family and extended family too. What used to be a chore is now a joy! I’m grateful for the attitude adjustment that comes with this new perspective. There are blessings everywhere!

In Love and Light,
