KK’s Week – Jun 3 – 9, 2018
I’m back…and I feel better than ever. I’ve just returned from a whirlwind tour of Unity Village for classes and interviews. I started a new job this past Thursday in Longmeadow, MA. And, I spent today with my family as we said goodbye to my aunt with a Mass, a graveside service, and reception. I can’t wait to see what next week brings!
The trip to Unity Village for school was amazing. I saw my friends, got closer to more classmates, and I did well in my interviews. When we spend quality time together, it’s amazing how supportive everyone is throughout the long days. We are in classes or interviews from early in the morning into the evenings sometimes and yet we do it with smiles on our faces, enjoying each other’s company, and helping those who have questions or concerns.
I know I’m going to love my new job. The people are warm and friendly. The workload is heavy but it will keep me moving…and I love to keep busy (I’m sure you know this is true by reading some of these posts). I’m so grateful to have this opportunity and move one step closer to finalizing the move to New England. The next step will be to find a place to live in MA. I’m excited!
Finally, I had the opportunity to spend today with family members as we reminisced and celebrated the life of my dear Aunt Frannie. She was a hoot and she was well-loved. I got to spend time with my cousins and my dad got to see some friends he hasn’t seen for a while. It was sad but beautiful all at the same time.
Well, that was one heck of a week, don’t you think? Whew! No wonder I’m tired. I’m grateful beyond measure…this move was the best thing for me and for my family, in my opinion. Stay tuned…I’ll keep you updated as the days go by. Blessings!
In Love and Light,
